DANIELLE E. KLAINBERG, M.A.
An entrepreneurial philanthropy and not-for-profit leader, Danielle has a proven track record of success and nearly 30 years of experience in organizational capacity-building and nonprofit fundraising. In 2008, she launched D.E.K. Associates Consulting building on her expertise and experience in non-profit organizations, institutional and individual fundraising, strategic planning, management, and program design and evaluation. Danielle also has solid experience in management, leading annual fund growth, social media engagement, improving development operations and information management systems, and event planning. Over the decades, she has also honed her philanthropic advising skills working closely with donors to ensure they reach their goals.
Danielle has held leadership positions as a fundraising director at Amnesty International, Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Oxfam America, WGBH, and World Education. Throughout her career, she has led teams that have secured over $150 million in gifts and grants. She has contributed to raising several millions more as a consultant. She has served as a volunteer for non-profits in a range of capacities, including serving on boards, advisory committees, and as a pro bono, non-profit consultant.
Danielle earned a master’s degree from the Columbia University School of International & Public Affairs and a B.A. in Sociology and Latin American Studies from Brandeis University.
